Israeli legislators and representatives of the chief rabbinate took a crash course on Christianity. Members of the Knesset’s Christian Allies Caucus and the rabbinical officials followed the course with visits to leaders of Israel’s Christian denominations, the Jerusalem Post reported. The American Jewish Committee’s Jerusalem bureau helped organize the events, which included meetings in Jerusalem’s Old City with the Latin and Armenian patriarchs and an emissary of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate.
