The Israeli mission here today denied press reports that Elias Sassoon, Israeli expert on Arab affairs, had arrived in Paris for the being of separate peace negotiations with Lebanese representatives. A spokesman said that the mission had no knowledge of the arrival or anticipated arrival of Sassoon.

Turning to the report that Lebanon had proposed Paris rather than Rhodes as the site for peace talks, the spokesman pointed out that such reports had circulated previously, and had proven to be without foundation.
