Special security measures will be taken at the Le Bourget air show, which opens here May 23, to protect the Israeli pavillion, French officials said today. The air show spokesman said, “We are taking all the necessary precautions to prevent a second Munich.”
Israel will present for the first time abroad its surface-to-surface Gabriel missile and the two Israeli-made airplanes, the Arava and the Commodore jet. French officials fear that the presence of the “Gabriel” at the show might provoke Palestinian terrorists to attack the Israeli pavillion.
