Israeli President Ezer Weizman began an official state visit to China aimed at boosting trade, science and cultural ties between the countries. During the trip, Weizman, who was accompanied by a business delegation, was expected to sign a number of cooperation agreements in various areas, including a $60 million communications and technology accord.
