Israeli President Moshe Katsav asked President Bush to set a deadline for Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat to end Palestinian violence against Israel. Speaking to Israeli reporters after meeting with Bush at the White House, Katsav said Bush had called the deadline “an interesting idea.”
