Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned Israeli settlers not to attack troops who evacuate them. “Do not dare raise a hand against soldiers,” Sharon said Wednesday during a visit to a West Bank army base, his remarks intended for settlers who this week scuffled with security forces at the illegal Yitzhar outpost. “If you want to lay into someone, lay into me. Lay off the Israel Defense Force.”
