Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat said they would be willing to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright when they are in New York this week to speak before the U.N. General Assembly. U.S. State Department spokesman James Rubin said it was still unclear whether they would hold a three-way meeting, and some American diplomatic officials questioned whether enough progress had been made to hold any meetings at all.
