Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is denying a report that Israeli and Palestinian officials discussed a proposal to divide the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City into four areas. The proposal, reported by the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, would be among the ideas raised to help resolve the issue of sovereignty over Jerusalem, which was one of the main causes for the failure of last month’s Camp David summit.
