Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak said he will not order an immediate troop withdrawal from southern Lebanon. “We cannot just throw our hands up and run away, even if there’s pressure,” he said. His comments came shortly before he defeated a no-confidence motion prompted by the air attacks he ordered last week on power plants in Lebanon.
