Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak telephoned Jordan’s King Abdullah to mark the fifth anniversary of the two countries’ peace treaty. “Today, we remember the legacy of King Hussein,” Barak said Wednesday, adding that it was his “political courage,” as well as that of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, that led to the historic Oct. 26, 1994 agreement.
