Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak told U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan that Israeli-Palestinian peace talks must be concluded within a matter of weeks. Barak’s meeting with Annan in New York launched a series of talks the premier will hold with world leaders during the three-day U.N. Millennium Summit, which begins Wednesday.
