Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak visited the largest Jewish settlement in the West Bank and vowed that it would remain part of the Jewish state. “Every house that you have built here is part of the State of Israel. Forever. Period,” he said during a tour Tuesday of Ma’aleh Adumim in what was his first visit to a Jewish settlement since taking office.
