Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met Saturday evening with Mahmoud Abbas and agreed to transfer $100 million to the Palestinian Authority president. It was one in a series of gestures Olmert made to help bolster Abbas, a relative moderate locked in a power struggle with Hamas, the terrorist group that controls the P.A. legislature and Cabinet.
