Israeli Prime Minister-elect Ehud Barak won 56.08 percent of the vote this week, while incumbent Benjamin Netanyahu received 43.92 percent, according to the final results released Wednesday by the Central Election Committee. The tallies indicated that close to 200,000 votes were cast for parties that did not make it into the Knesset. About 60,000 votes were disqualified for technical reasons.
