Israeli security officials are refusing to let Prime Minister Ehud Barak speak at the Tel Aviv square where former Israeli leader Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated. Saying it could not guarantee the premier’s safety, the Shin Bet domestic security service balked at his appearing at a rally marking the fourth anniversary of the assassination. Barak may instead make a televised appearance before the rally.
