Israeli soldiers are undergoing crash courses in Zionism. On Tuesday, the army said its Education Corps had been authorized to inculcate Zionism and other Jewish values in courses throughout the armed services. The Israeli army’s chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Moshe Ya’alon, said the initiative, coordinated with the Jewish Agency for Israel, would boost morale and fight apathy among soldiers.
