Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian gunman in the West Bank. The terrorist, a member of the Al-Aksa Brigade, died Monday in a shootout at his Jenin safe house. In a separate incident, the army found two 15-pound bombs hidden in school backpacks in the West Bank city of Kalkilya.
