Israeli troops killed two armed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The two were killed Sunday night after they fired on the Israeli settlement of Dugit, an army spokesman said. Palestinian officials disputed the Israeli claim that the two were trying to infiltrate the settlement, saying the two were policemen patrolling the area. Palestinian officials also claimed that the two were lying wounded on the ground when they were killed by Israeli forces. Israel denied the charge.
