Israeli troops on Saturday arrested an 18-year-old Palestinian who was planning to carry out an attack at a West Bank settlement. The Palestinian, who was armed with a knife, was arrested after the youth’s father arrived at an army checkpoint near Nablus and asked that the soldiers prevent the attack. The father said his son is mentally unstable, The Associated Press reported.
