Israeli wage earners will receive a two percent pay boost this year under a draft agreement between Histadrut, the trade union federation, and the Israel Manufacturers Association. The agreement was approved today by Histadrut’s trade union department. The raise will be retroactive to the first of the year. The agreement also calls for an increased cost-of-living allowance to be determined by a committee on the basis of the consumer price level of Jan. 16, 1971.
