Several thousand Israelis, members of various national trade unions, demonstrated outside the Soviet Embassy at Ramath Gan this afternoon in support of the Hungarian workers’ 48-hour strike.
Police kept the demonstrators at a distance of 50 years from the Embassy. The marchers carried signs denouncing the “Murderers of the Hungarian Nation and the “Arms Supplier of the Egyptian Dictator. The demonstrators dispersed quietly after a title.
