Israeli troops killed four gunmen from the Islamic fundamentalist Hezbollah and wounded several others Wednesday in the eastern sector of the southern Lebanon security zone.
No casualties were sustained on the Israeli side.
The troops identified the Hezbollah squad, laid-an ambush and then opened fire from close range, Israel Radio reported.
The incident took place in difficult mountainous areas, military sources said.
