Israelis with a sweet tooth got bitter news Tuesday. Sugar, which sold at IL 29.5 per kilogram Sunday was price at IL 35.5. The sharp hike was attributed to a sudden rise on the London sugar market. Last year, sugar was selling in Israel at IL 11 per kilogram.
