Israelis working to improve early education in the Ethiopian Israeli community met in New York with U.S. Jewish educators and leaders. Last week’s visit involved an 11-person delegation from the city of Rehovot, which has 930 Ethiopian preschoolers enrolled in Parents and Children Together, a joint education initiative of Rehovot, the UJA-Federation of New York and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
