A report on how Israel-helps its Arab population introduce modern farming methods was presented today by Aaron Becker, Histadruth delegate to the International Labor Organization conference currently being held here.
Mr. Becker said that the Arabs, just like the Jewish settlers, are provided with new equipment and improved agricultural training and are helped with their marketing problems. Israel has even had considerable success” in introducing cooperative enterprise among its Arabs, Mr. Becker insisted. He also reported on efforts to raise the standards of all Israel rural communities, Jewish and Arab alike, to that of the cities and towns.
