Israel’s ambassador to Berlin voiced alarm at growing anti-Semitism in Germany. “German Jews feel unsafe,” Ambassador Shimon Stein said in an interview published over the weekend by Germany’s Neue Osnabruecker newspaper. “I have the strong feeling that Jews in this country simply do not feel safe. They are not always able to practice their religion freely.”
