Israel’s army gradually will lift curfews imposed on Palestinian cities in the West Bank, according to the nation’s defense minister. Benjamin Ben-Eliezer also said at Sunday’s weekly Cabinet meeting that he had instructed the army to do everything it could to ease the plight of the Palestinian civilian population.
