Israel’s Cabinet endorsed Maj. Gen. Shaul Mofaz’s appointment as Israel’s chief of staff. Mofaz is slated to take over from Lt. Gen. Amnon Shahak in July. All the ministers present at the meeting approved Mofaz’s appointment.
