Israel’s Hadash Party called for a special session of the Knesset during its spring recess to discuss a reported Egyptian-Jordanian initiative aimed at ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Hadash members who met in Ramallah with Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat said his response to the initiative was favorable.
