Israel’s High Court of Justice overturned a military parole board’s decision to commute the sentence of a former Israeli general convicted of accepting tens of millions of dollars in kickbacks and bribes. In its ruling Monday, the court said Rami Dotan was corrupt “to the core” and had committed a grave crime against Israel. Dotan has served eight years of a 12-year sentence.
