Effective today, Israel’s travel tax was more than double to 320 pounds ($106) on airline tickets and 270 pounds ($90) on ship tickets, plus the previous five percent flat rate on such tickets. The tax was reduced for Israeli students at for families abroad who return to Israel for a visit.
