Israel’s Knesset is set to award four Americans its “Conscience and Courage” award in recognition of their work to achieve moral and material restitution for Holocaust survivors. The award is to be presented by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a special Nov. 17 Knesset ceremony to Undersecretary of State for Economic Affairs Stuart Eizenstat, World Jewish Congress President Edgar Bronfman, Sen. Alfonse D’Amato (R-N.Y.) and New York City Comptroller Alan Hevesi.
