Israel’s Labor Party decided not to put forward a mayoral candidate for the Tel Aviv elections and instead will run on a joint list with popular incumbent Roni Milo of the Likud Party. Labor leader Ehud Barak said his party would have put forward its own candidate if Milo held extremist views or had aligned himself with fervently Orthodox Jews.
