Israel’s Labor Party is expected to approve in the coming days a merger with the Gesher Party and Meimad, the moderate Orthodox movement. As part of the merger, a high-ranking spot on Labor’s list of Knesset candidates would be reserved for Gesher leader and former Foreign Minister David Levy.
