Israel’s new Ambassador to the U.S., Moshe Arens, said Wednesday that his greatest sacrifice for Israel has been the requirement that he has to wear a “black tie” as part of his Ambassadorial duties. “Muriel (Mrs. Arens) and I have done many things fore the State of Israel, but never this,” he told 800 persons attending the international Biennial Convention of the B’nai B’rith Women here. “One of the reasons I made aliya from the U.S. was so that I wouldn’t have to go around with a tie,” he quipped.
