Israel’s new foreign minister is expected to be Silvan Shalom, ousting Benjamin Netanyahu from his current position. Earlier Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon offered Netanyahu the Finance Ministry, a position previously held by Shalom. Netanyahu is considering whether he will accept the post.
