Abie Nathan, Tel Aviv restaurateur and Israel’s self-appointed peace emissary, arrived in Moscow yesterday to seek “a Kosygin for the Middle East, ” according to dispatches from the Soviet capital.
Mr. Nathan is the man who flew recently to Port Said, Egypt, in an abortive effort to see Egypt’s President Gamal Abdel Nasser and suggest to him peace talks between Israel and Egypt. Later, he went to Rome, Paris, the United Nations in New York and London, but, so far, has not seen any world leader except Pope Paul VI. Moscow reported that Nathan said he hoped he would see Soviet Premier Aleksei Kosygin.
