Israel’s prime minister says he never agreed to a Palestinian state with economic independence and territorial contiguity and that he never took part in consultations on the matter, according to the Israeli daily Yediot Achronot. Ehud Barak said he has only stated that the nature of the Palestinian entity would be determined in final-status talks.
