Israel’s public security minister is expected to recommend that the Palestinian Authority’s de facto headquarters in eastern Jerusalem not be closed. Shlomo Ben-Ami said political activities are no longer being carried out at Orient House. The closure order had been issued during the tenure of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
