Israel’s tourism minister reportedly called for disbanding the group planning the events for Israel’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz quoted officials close to Moshe Katzav as saying he had declared that the group bad “run out of steam” and reached the end of the road.
