Isserman Quits St. Louts Interfaith Body in Move to Bring Catholics Back

Rabbi Ferdinand Isserman, whose recent speech in a Protestant Church criticizing President Roosevelt’s appointment of Myron C. Taylor as envoy to the Vatican caused the resignation of the five Catholic members from the St. Louis Round-Table of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, has now himself resigned from the round-table and invited the Catholics to return. The Jewish Community Council has issued a statement disassociating itself from Rabbi Isserman’s views.
