It is folly to atempt to escape one’s racial identity, Judge Louis Goldberg of the Massachusetts Superior Court bench said in an address before the Springfield B’nai B’rith lodge. People should study their racial genealogy, on the contrary, and be conscious of their origin, he said. “One doesn’t spring out of the foam like Venus,” Judge Goldberg told his audience.
