Special pensions for surviving widows and parents of victims of the Nazi massacre at the Ardeatine Caves, most of them Jews, are provided in the draft of a law prepared by George Berzanti, Christian Democratic deputy in the Italian Parliament, it became known today. Sgr. Berzanti has circulated his draft among deputies of all parties.

Certificates attesting to the assistance given Italian Jews during the Nazi-fascist regime were presented to a number of non-Jews at a ceremony held in Verona by the Association of Deportees. Herman Friendentahl, Chief Rabbi of Milan, expressed the gratitude of Italian Jewry to those who had risked their lives in behalf of Jews.
