Italian Liner Sails on First Voyage to Holy Land

Bearing a number of Jews, some of whom are to settie in Palestine permanently, the Italian liner Conte Di Savoia sailed after midnight yesterday morning on a Mediterranean cruise which includes a stop at Haife, the first call the giant is has made at the Holy Land #nce the vessel was commissioned.

Among those sailing were Dr. and Mrs Israel s. Wechsler, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Russek, Mr. and Mrs. #rold Jacobi, Mr. and Mrs.Julius Levine, Mrs. Dora M. Shapiro and party, Mrs. Jeanette Brown and son, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Jacobs, Murray Hand, Rabbi Joseph Kraus, of Philadelphia, and Nathan Fish, Boston.

Captain and Mrs. Guiseppe Cosulich also departed on the liner. Captain Cosulich, a former director of the Italian Line here, is sailing to take up new duties as director at Cape Town.
