Meanwhile, increasing pressure is being exercised against foreign Jews, who are being summoned by the police and warned to leave the country before the deadline.
Under the auspices of the race publication, Difesa della Razza, an anti-Semitic exhibit has opened at the Piazza Colonna, featuring a free library containing anti-Semitic literature and explanations of the Fascist race theory. Despite huge neon signs, the display has thus far attracted little attention.
