The Italian authorities will extradite to West Germany the former Nazi diplomat Horst Wagner, who was in charge of the extermination of Jews in Croatia and was at one time chief of the “Jewish section” of the Nazi Foreign Office, it was learned here today.
Wagner was arrested some months ago in Rome where he lived as an accredited correspondent for South American newspapers. He fled to Italy in 1948 from an internment camp in Germany.
