Professor Angelo Sacerdoti, Chief Rabbi of Rome, presided at the conference of the Federation of Rabbis in Italy, held this week in Milan. The conference was welcomed to the city by the president of the Milan Jewish community, Commandant Jarach.
The resolutions adopted by the conference include one which declares that the 2,000-year-old striving toward Zion is a fundamental element of Judaism. The conference decided to send greetings to the Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Italy, which is controlled by the Zionists.
