Acting on the request of the deputy chief of the J.S. counsel at the Nuremberg war crimes tribunal, the World Jewish Congress has submitted evidence for use in the forthcoming trial of top figures in I.G. Farben, it was reported here today.
The evidence includes a report on the conditions under which Jewish forced laborers were employed at the Monowitz concentration camp, where work was done for J.G. Farben. Also included are a number of affidavits by Hungarian Jews, sworn before the U.S. consul in Budapest, detaling mistreatment while employed at forced labor.
