Supreme Court justice Joseph L. Bodine dismissed the motion of the Deborah Jewish Consumptive Relief Society for a writ of certiorari which would compel the State Board of Health to issue a permit to the society to erect a million dollar tubercular home at Hopatcong in Sussex County.
Justice Bodine ruled that Hopatcong was a summer resort and that it would prevent many persons who enjoyed Summer vacations there from frequenting that resort because of the proximity of the proposed sanitarium.
