A variety of Palestinian fruits was distributed to several thousand Jewish children who observed the annual Jewish Arbor Day. Chamisho Osor B’Shevat, with a rally at the Washington Irving High School Sunday afternoon The celebration was under the auspices of Young Judaea, the Jewish Youth Movement of the United States.
Dr. Israel Goldstein, national president of Young Judaea, and Samuel J. Berowsky, executive chairman, were the principal speakers.
